Garrett McCord is a food writer, writing instructor, culinary consultant, freelance food photographer, and recipe developer who loves to share his enthusiasm for food and the written word through numerous ventures:

Vanilla Garlic – editor of a popular food blog that looks at how life and food intertwine through creative, entertaining, and educational essays.

Freelance Writer & Recipe Developer – his work has appeared in Gourmet Live, Cheese Connoisseur, Epi-Log, and numerous other print/online publications.

Writing Workshops & Events - sessions on food writing, general writing instruction, cheese tasting, cooking instruction and other subjects are taught at various colleges, conferences, and other locations.
